During Medinfo 2013 (www.medinfo2013.dk), the 14th World Congress on Medical and Health Informatics in Copenhagen this week, experts from the international openEHR community came together to offer an introductory tutorial on the openEHR methodology for collaborative clinical content development and its practical contribution to international EHR initiatives.
As part of the tutorial (www.medinfo2013.dk/node/76), Think!Med product manager Anze Droljc presented Marand's experience of EHR development using the openEHR platform.
"openEHR (www.openehr.org) presents a major step forward as a clinical data platform for leading edge EHR implementations. Detailed data models developed by the international community of leading clinicians combined with a robust reference model are a solid foundation to build solutions which enable semantic interoperability of EHRs. Marand is proud to be part of this international effort with our mission to provide a comprehensive set of powerful tools to take full advantage of the benefits of openEHR", said Tomaz Gornik, Marand co-founder and vice president.
